Funding & Ads

Revised October 15, 2026

The Food Receipt costs nothing to use. Here's how we pay for it.

Advertising

We may run ads from Google AdSense or similar networks. Ads are set apart from our content and may be marked "Advertisement." We don't hand-pick individual ads, and an ad on our site isn't an endorsement.

Affiliate links

Occasionally we may link to baking equipment, such as pie plates or cast-iron skillets, through affiliate programs that pay a small commission at no extra cost to you. Consistent with FTC guidance, these links will be clearly disclosed.

Promoting the site

We may advertise The Food Receipt through services like Google Ads, promoting our free recipes, guides, translator and holiday plans. We never charge for any of these.

Never

We never sell personal information or accept payment to include a product in a recipe.
